Nature and Outdoor Programs
Have a suggestion for outdoor recreation or a nature appreciation class?
IMPORTANT NOTICE: LIMITED PARKING ON SUGARING WEEKENDS Please remember that on sugaring weekends, we may need to limit parking at the sanctuary to sugaring tour participants, due to the small size of our parking lot and the huge amounts of snow we have had this winter.
The dates affected are: March 5 & 6, 12 & 13, and 19 & 20.
Please keep this in mind if you are planning to visit the sanctuary this month. We regret the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
1. MAPLE SUGARING TOURS Saturdays and Sundays: March 5 & 6, 12 & 13, 19 & 20 Tour Times: 10:00 am, 12:30 pm, & 2:30 pm http://web.massaudubon.org/site/
Join us for a one-hour guided tour of our sugaring operation. It's a wonderful outing for adults and families. The sap has been running and we have been bottling! Our own Ipswich River maple syrup will be available for sale this weekend. Most tour times are still open. 3. FAMILY AND CHILDREN'S PROGRAMS
Owl Prowl for Families Friday, March 11 / 7:00-9:00 pm http://web.massaudubon.org/site
For families with children 5 years and older. Come experience the excitement of an owl prowl as we take a hike on the sanctuary to look and listen for barred, great horned, and eastern screech-owls.
Nature Tales: Animal Homes
Saturday, March 26 / 10:00-11:30 am For families with children ages 3-6. We'll listen to a story and then take a walk to investigate animal homes and discover who made them.
Wonder Walk: Where Have all the Insects Gone?

Exoplanets Made Easy

Join the North Shore Amateur Astronomy Club for an evening of stargazing. Learn what exoplanets are and discover stars and constellations that you can see with the naked eye.

SPEND A NIGHT IN THE INNERMOST HOUSE Our cozy cabin is available by reservation to Mass Audubon members. It sleeps four and can be reserved for $30 per night. Call the office at 978-887-9264 for reservation information.
